Privacy policy

This policy describes how aceta handles information when you use aceta ktet learning app and aceta.app.

Information we use

• Account details: your phone number for OTP sign-in, name, and profile information you provide, including education and teaching qualifications.
• Learning activity: course selections, lesson progress, answers, bookmarks, study preferences, and learning achievements.
• Purchase information: store transaction identifiers, purchase verification data, membership state, and payment/refund records. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not entered into Aceta.
• Device and technical data: sessions, device details, optional push-notification tokens, uploaded account files, and technical logs needed for operation and security.
• Support messages: information you choose to send when requesting help.

Why we use it

We use this information to verify sign-in, save and synchronize learning, check access to paid content, provide reminders you enable, resolve support requests, and protect the service against misuse. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising.

Service providers

Our infrastructure uses Cloudflare for hosting, database storage, file storage, and background processing. SMS delivery is handled by our configured messaging provider, currently Twilio. Where push messaging is enabled, Firebase Cloud Messaging and the platform notification service deliver notifications. Apple, Google, and Razorpay process purchases made through their respective services. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Authorized team members can access information needed for their role, such as learner support or billing. Data may be processed in countries other than the one you live in.

Website and local storage

The public website does not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or a marketing cookie banner. Its sample question runs only in your browser and does not save or transmit your answer. Our hosting provider may process request and security logs. The app stores authentication data securely on your device and caches learning content and preferences for its operation.

Your choices

You can update profile details in the app, change reminder preferences, manage notification permissions in your phone settings, and manage subscriptions with the original store provider. For access, correction, or other privacy requests, contact support@aceta.app.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while needed to provide the service. You can delete your account from You → Delete account, or request help through our account deletion contact. Deletion removes the app account, linked learning data, and uploaded account files. Some financial, security, backup, or legal records may need to be retained for their applicable purpose. Store providers manage their own records.

Account deletion does not stop subscription renewal. Cancel renewal separately in your App Store or Google Play account.

Children and security

Aceta is designed for prospective teachers, not as a service directed at children. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us. We use access controls, encrypted connections, and secure authentication practices, but no service can guarantee absolute security.
